Holli serves as Indiana’s 62nd Secretary of State. Prior, Holli had served northern Evansville and Newburgh as their State Representative since 2014. In the House, Holli championed the Right to Life and protected our 2nd Amendment rights. She served as the president of POWER—the bipartisan House women’s caucus—and as the chair of the Budget Subcommittee on House Ways & Means where she oversaw the creation of a balanced budget during the 2021 legislative session.

Holli proudly co-authored Indiana’s 20-year infrastructure plan and recently helped pass legislation that funded critical local cybersecurity improvements ahead of the 2020 elections. Her other accomplishments include expanding the state’s Pre-K pilot program and authoring Indiana’s Safety P.I.N. legislation, which has decreased the state’s infant mortality to its lowest level in recorded history.

Holli’s career in automotive engineering began at General Motors, where she managed more than a hundred employees in the auto giant’s paint division. At GM, she cut overhead costs more than 12% in a single year by improving efficiency on the production line and improved quality standards which were instrumental in GM winning JD Power’s “best in quality” award three years running during her time there.

After, she held similar roles for Toyota’s Indiana manufacturing operation before taking her business experience to the University of Southern Indiana, where she worked as a consultant at USI’s Center for Applied Research and opened her own business, Onward Consulting.

Holli currently serves as a board member of Indiana’s Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series and as Chairwoman of the Council of State Governments Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development (BiLLD) Steering Committee. She is a graduate of the Lugar Series, BiLLD, and Yale’s Women’s Campaign School.

Holli is active in Young Life Mission Community, the Alcoa Community Advisory Council, and the Missions Committee at Family Bible Church.

Holli and her husband of twenty-five years, Chad, live and raise their three children, Dalton, Savannah, and Sawyer, in Evansville, where they attend Family Bible Church.
